I'd like to highlight the room recommendations we have open pricing, such as the Quadruple rooms at ICON BCN. I think the system recognizes when there's a pickup and sends very accurate recommendations, just as it does at Hotel III, where all our rooms are open pricing. Furthermore, I find the fact that some hotels have a built-in Demand column very useful for decision-making. Another aspect worth highlighting is the forecast. In my opinion, it's almost always very accurate and gives you an idea, especially over the long term, of whether you need to modify your strategy or not. It's worth mentioning that whenever we have a discrepancy in either the price recommendation or the forecast, Federica's response is very prompt.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I'd like to have all the prices for all types of hotels in the overview, whether the hotel offers supplements or open pricing. This way, it's much easier to make decisions.

I highlight the ease of use and the operational agility it allows us to have in our daily work, allowing us to have a fairly clear view of the compset and its evolution. On the other hand, I also positively value the speed of technical support.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
As for what could be improved, I think it would be good to not rely so heavily on compset decisions. On the other hand, the system responds well to standard demand, but in special event situations, the recommendations could be more dynamic and better adapt to sudden changes.

During special events or peak demand, recommendations are often conservative or unrealistic, especially if occupancy is not yet high. This can lead to missed opportunities to maximize revenue. The algorithm's logic sometimes fails to react quickly enough to significant market changes, such as an anomalous pickup or a change in the comp set, and requires manual adjustments to regain control. I would recommend RMS, but always accompanied by strong analytical oversight from the Revenue team.

Preliminary testing must be done, and the results don’t always meet expectations. The important thing is to stay aligned on the final goal so together, the team and the clients can make the most of it. Not moving forward is not an option.

The system works well overall, especially for automating pricing and saving time. However, it tends to rely too much on the comp set and not enough on real-time pickup. As a result, it sometimes misses opportunities to adjust rates more aggressively when demand increases. Improving responsiveness to pickup would make it a much more effective tool. Still, it's a solid base for revenue management in most situations.
While generally accurate, it can be somewhat slow to respond to sudden market changes. Even so, it offers a solid foundation and helps us save time. A reliable tool for most situations, though not always the quickest to react.

Once again I insist on the support received by the team. It is very important that companies feel accompanied by their technological partners. Why? Because there are many solutions that you work with every day and sometimes it can be frustrating to feel alone and not know how to get the most out of the tools. On the other hand, there is the importance of integrations with other tools. It is something basic and with BeonX it is very well solved. Integration with other PMS, engines, etc. is essential when implementing a technological solution in a hotel.
BEONx has opened their internal support tools and processes to Hotel Tech Report and has achieved the GCSC Support Certification which verifies the tools and processes they have in place to support customers.
